Stage 6 …
The breakaway get the finish line.
This is normal in competitive cycling and especially in multiple-stage bicycle races.
The ranking has been lengthened, so as there is not a tight control among the sprinters, there are opportunities for breakaways…
maybe the teams that today had a potential good chance left a little too much space to these 5 athletes… So these teams have seen fade away this opportunity.
Now I wonder … Team Managers who have direct connection with athletes via radios could not act more promptly in directing their athletes to a counterattack, without waiting for the gap to reach 8:50 minutes?
Well, maybe I am wrong! I don’t know !!!!
Two possibilities: or the radios didn’t work … or the synapses didn’t work (😂😂)
Dillier (BMC) won … Good all 5.
The “bigs” were checking each other very closely … (and very boring) 6 stages without any pure emotion …. but why?
What’s happening in road cycling?
I am saying it as passionate cyclist … no excitement uphill and genuinely little even at sprints…
Califano comes to my mind …
